How to Trace a Circle

Tracing a circle can be one of the most simple drawing tasks. However, a lot of people go too fast and make this simple task difficult. Here are some quick tips for those that want to gain confidence and avoid retracing too many times.

For tracing a circular object: the angle of your pencil should be 45 degrees from all sides of the curve. Split your trace into two halves of the circular object to keep your pencil angle at 45 degrees.

For tracing a template: the angle of your pencil should be very upright, on the point of your pencil throughout the curve.
