Line Quality: Implied Line
Implied line is suggested, but not directly expressed, so it engages your viewers more because they need to work to visually fill in the blanks. You might also think of these lines as dashed lines, start and stop lines, incomplete lines and they may change pressure or thickness throughout the line. This is a fun line quality and one that I use all the time, and it is pretty easy to draw as well. Basically, I just skip portions of the lines or or leave them incomplete in particular spots, so the viewer will imagine the line continuing.
