Posture for the Artist, Part 2: How I Sit While Drawing
You all asked for more detail (when I posted my first video on posture for the artist) on how I sit while I draw and here it is. 15 years ago, I used to sit wherever I wanted to draw- often times on the floor sitting cross-legged. But now that I’ve been drawing for so many years, doing so after having had really bad posture and drawing habits in the beginning of my art schooling and career, I have to sit well or things go wrong! Here are all my tricks, many things to accommodate that I’m shorter than average so desk chairs are too big for me. Hope you’re setting yourself up for years of drawing comfort.
