I love drawing pears, it is one of my “tune up” practices, my go-to quick draw. I draw one when I am feeling a bit sluggish or rusty drawing; or I want to draw, but nothing that I have to ponder or figure out or think about. It is like drawing an old friend. A comforting form, that makes me think of Autumn, my favorite season. It warms up my hand so I can draw other things that are a bit more challenging for me.
Here is a drawing that probably took me about 15-20 minutes, sped up so you can see it from start to finish.
